Life is a river.

Flowing the path, release the resistent.

Barely straight through the impossible.

Clear as air, black as night.

But no matter what the direction or how it moved,
如何流動 呈現出怎樣的姿態
what it looked like, the point according to granddad
河流永遠都是向前流動的
was that the river always moved forward.
是什麼讓他年至垂暮還感慨萬千呢
What kept him running the rabbits until he was old and gray?
見證奇蹟的時刻到了
The mystery would lay around the bend.

These days that mystery is hard to find.

而自行車
But bicycle,
是人類最完美的發明
are noblest invention.
道路 來來去去 亦如季節
Trails like the seasons come and go.
多樣 美麗 典雅
Built on a foundation of diversity, beauty, classic elegance.
從不完全重複
Never quite repeating themselves
一種有着不同的開始
A marvel made of beginnings and endings
結局以及無數不同過程的奇蹟
with a million different ways in between.
爺爺就好像是這其中的聯♥系♥者
Granddad was all about those connections.
他花在土地上和花在機器上的時間一樣多
He had his hands in the earth as much as he did machines.

Probably the only creatures on the planet would notice.
也許這就是爲什麼我們如此善於殺戮
Maybe that's why we are so good at killing.
我們終有一天會死 不妨及時行樂
It's going to die any way, might as well have it first selves.
所以我們就不停的獲取
So we take, we take some more.
但是在我們讓其他無形事物逐漸消失的過程中
But in the process we kill other less tangible entities
比如說某些生命的循環
things like flow,
人的幸福感 人與自然的互動 生存的意義
joy, interaction, purpose
穿越世界的另一條路也隨之消失了
another way through the world has lost.

Not by one particular person
而是整個人類的本性
but by instinct,

survival
正是人類的生命本身造成的
the very chaos lifeself.

You spend hours thinking, designing, questioning.

Also you can spend a few seconds lost in one moment.

in a one washed away by the rush.

當建造者放下工具拿起戰車
when the builder puts down the shovel and picks up the bike

when creation override distruction

我依然記得我的第一輛自行車
I still remember my first bike.
耀眼的藍色噴漆
Perfect little banana
擁有哈雷一樣的弓形車把的完美小車
with big chopper handle bars, sparkling blue paint,
它帶給了我美好的回憶
Bright memeries came on that miracle
依稀記得那從高處衝下的快♥感♥
crousing down from the side block, feeling big.
我那時才7歲
Even though I was only seven.
世界一下子變得大不一樣
In a second, the world grew exponentially
我們在距離四個街區遠的地方發現了一些祕密的衚衕
We found secret back alleys jumped a whole four blocks away.
我們互相碰撞 在胳膊上繫上寬大的布帶
We crash, get giant scrips on our arms
用最快的速度比賽衝向街角的商店
race to the corner store as fast as we could.
糖果從口袋裏掉出來 好像逃跑的強盜掉出來的金塊兒
Candy spill our pockets like stolen gold.
在寒來暑往中的一次又一次的騎行
With every ride, every new advanture
一次又一次的冒險裏
with crone wood fade
車子慢慢變得鏽跡斑斑
the rust was creepting at the pain.
其他的小孩開始騎着新車出現
Other kids was shown with the newer bikes.
我最好的朋友 吉米
My best friend Jimmy
買♥♥了一輛裝有TRED輪胎的BMX
got a BMX with TRED tires, no funders.
他不準任何人碰他的車
He can jump at that thing like no body's business.
當我們發現了林道
Then we found a trial.
世界又一次改變了
And the world changed again.
我在森林中穿行 穿梭於樹木之間
We find ourselves deep in the forest, riding over roots,
飛躍溝壑 冒雨飛奔
dropping in the galleys, caught in the rain.
車子在更新換代
New kids were shown with gears, and bigger wheels.
而我對新的裝備
While I'm in troop of my ride,
並沒什麼熱情
much like the crown in the pain, my affection begin to fade.
父母承諾 當我再大一點 再給我買♥♥一輛BMX
My parents promised me a BMX when I got a little bigger.
但是現在 我的車仍在服役
But for now, chopper would have to do.
有一天 在叢林深處
One day, far gone in the woods,
我的愛車最終報廢了
my pecfect little banana broken, too.
沒法再騎了
The end of age.
雖然我知道很快我就會有新車的
I cried for a long time,
我還是哭了很久
even know a new bike wasn't far off.
他已經融入我的生命
This thing had become a part of me.
並且永遠如此
It still is.
無論我們造物如何精良
No matter how well we build things
無論我們對其有多麼熱愛
no matter how hard we love them
正如世間萬物 無論是什麼原因
like everything else, for what ever reason

they are forth the end to take it all away.

It's only taken 200 years of to get here.
200年的發明創造
200 years of inovation and invention,

of not giving up.
設計很複雜
Complex by design,
本質卻追求簡潔
simple by nature.
單車只不過是一圈一圈的循環往復
The bike is nothing more than cirecles turning circles.
人類制♥造♥的馬達使其顯得更爲高雅
It's the human motor that makes it elegant.
但不管單車的發展歷程有多麼久遠
But no matter how far the bike has come
無論它已經帶來了什麼
no matter how many it can already do
前進的步伐卻從未停止
the pushing doesn't stop.
我們尚未到達終點
We still haven't found the edge.
終有一天 河流匯入海洋 從此它不再是一條河流
One day the river meets the sea, and it's not a river any more.
它經歷的變革的滾滾車輪
It passed through the wheel of change
嚐遍各種經歷 故事
in or out of experience, stories,
冒險 最終走向美好的終點
advanture, grand ends.
最終 有了完美的結局
And have to be the right stops.
消散了 但沒有消逝
Lost but not entirely gone.

For now, as far as we can tell
生命的輪迴
The cycle of life,
其實 永無止境
well, it never ends.
